Jimmie was born April 18, 1948, in Mobile Alabama to the union of Jimmie Lee Sr. and Deloris Carmichael. Jimmie accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at St John First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. Jimmie passed through this life on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the age of 76. After his honorable discharge, he met the love of his life, Lena Prudhomme, who became his life-long companion for 53-years. To this union, two sons were born, Jimmie Carmichael III and Lilton Carmichael. Jimmie's job later transferred him to Fort Knox, Kentucky. Jimmie was admired for his work ethic and compassion. Upon retiring, he and his family made Louisville, Kentucky, home for 30 years. Jimmie departed this life on September 19, 2024. His memory will live forever in the hearts of his family and those who knew and loved him.
