Joseph, known as "Tangy" was born to Joseph and Julia Zachary Clark, Sr., on July 29, 1965 in Jennings, Louisiana.  He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Dr. Jeff Peterson at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings, LA.

Joseph worked for over 20 years as a Master Chef for Union International Offshore and Drilling. Tang enjoyed cooking, good food, keeping company with everyone.  He loved his family, friends, and above all he loved Christ.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Marla Faye Clark; four children, Joseph (Anetria) "Bubba" Clark of Gueydan, LA., Kayla Clark, Shayla (Daylin) Riggs, and Troy Clark all of Jennings, LA; his stepchildren, Jeremy, DeAndre, Eric, and Haley all of Lake Arthur, LA; his siblings, Willie (Melinda) Clark of Jennings, LA., Marietta Clark of Houston, TX., Carolyn (Emory) Davis of Cypress, TX., and Jolene Perkins of Lake Charles, LA; his godson, DeAndre' Clark of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren, Javion, Jaiden, Jaycee, Christopher Jr., Cameron, Indorna Jr., Kynadee, Kamyri, Izaevian, Zerrian, Zhyrielle, Daylin, Dezhyre, and Da'Marion; two aunts, Evelyn (James) Hampton of Norristown, PA and Charlesea Bernard of Crowley, LA; two uncles, Alfred (Beatrice) Zachary, and Ken Zachary of Jennings, LA.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Julia Z. Clark; his sister, Julie Simington; his paternal grandparents, George and Clara Clark; maternal grandparents, Willie and Mary Zachary.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel.  Reverend Gerald W. Perkins will officiate.  A Public Viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary .  Face Coverings and Social Distancing Guidelines are required.
