Deacon Joseph Pearlis Hall
, age 61 passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
Deacon Hall was born in Lafayette, LA on September 13, 1954 to the late Ella Mae Hall and Joseph Pearlis Boxie. He was a graduate of Jennings High School, a veteran of the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge. He retired from the City of Jennings as a laborer and was an dedicated member of the Love of Christ Ministries where he served as a Deacon under the leadership of the late Pastor Roy Harmon. Deacon Hall was a member of the American Legion Post #520 in Jennings, LA.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda Faye Hall; sons, Joseph Cordera (Patrice) and Byron Castille; daughters, Shawn Ason (Jason), Jamie Carrier and Keisha; grandsons, D'Quann and Joshua; granddaughter, JaShawnna; brothers, Kenneth Hall, Don Arthur Hall (Sandra), Melvin Louise Boxie and Roy Baptiste Boxie Sr; sisters, Annette Faye Hawkins, Audrey Boxie Gant (Alonzo Jr.), Cindy Lee Achane (Glenn), Cynthia Gail Boxie, Earlie Capedeville (Avery), Juliet Pearl Boxie (Billie Pitre) and Angela Williams (Kenny); brother-in-laws, Curley Castille Sr., George Castille and Floyd Castille; sister-in-laws, Rita Broussard and Doris Castille.
Visitation will be from 8:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. at Love of Christ Ministries, located at 615 W. Division Street in Jennings, LA. Funeral services are at 11:00 A.M. with Minister Terry Lee officiating. Burial is at Benevolent Cemetery in Jennings, LA.
