Joseph Antoine Savoy, 81, of Jennings, LA transitioned from earthly labor to his heavenly reward on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.  He was born in Arnaudville, Louisiana on May 20, 1941, to Mary Elodie Collins Savoy and Joseph Lee Savoy.  Joseph accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Union Baptist Church in Jennings, LA., pastored by Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr.  Joseph worked for many years and retired from the City of Jennings in the Sanitation Department.  Joseph was married to the love of his life, Audrey Lee Savoy.

Joseph leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Audrey; brother, Joseph Wilford Savoie.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Joseph Lee Savoy; sisters, Mary Lee Charles, Mary Audrey, Mary Alice Clark, and Rose Anna Marie Clark.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Union Baptist Church, 1014 S. Main Street in Jennings, LA.  Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr., will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the church from 9:00 am until the time of celebration services.  Burial will be in Peterson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
