Joseph Lee Simon, 81 Joseph Simon departed this life on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. He was born in Jennings, LA on January 8, 1930 to Ezuebe and Mary (Necessary) Simon. He was a life-long resident of Jennings, LA. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Ezuebe and Mary Simon; two brothers, Andrew and Dan Simon; five sisters, Odessa Simon, Mary Ford, Victoria Lee, Elnora Boudreaux, and Zenobia Robinson. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, eight nieces, Carolyn Gordon (Atlanta, GA.), Wanda Caldwell (Houston, TX.), Wilma Jean Wright (New Orleans, LA.), Dianne Boudreaux Bowens (Las Vegas, NV.), Cassandra Palmer (Houston, TX.), Andrea Jean Robinson (Lake Charles, LA.), Cherylene Noel (Jennings, LA.) and Debra Wright (James, Phoenix, AZ.), three nephews, Dale Simon (Las Vegas, NV.), Howard, Freddie, and Russell Lee, all of Jennings, LA. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of Memorial Service. Repast will be at Union Baptist Church. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and expressions.
