Kadijah Renee Massey, 28, passed away at her residence in Jennings, LA on Saturday, March 4, 2023.  Kadijah was born on July 12, 1994, to Libbey Nicole Day and Anthony James Massey Sr.  Kadijah accepted Christ at the early age of 9 years and was baptized by Pastor Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. at Union Baptist Church in Jennings, LA.  She was a 2014 graduate of Jennings High School.  Kadijah enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends.  She was employed as a Cashier by McDonalds Corporation in Jennings, LA.

Kadijah leaves to cherish her loving memories, her parents Libbey Nicole Watson (Keith) and Anthony James Massey Sr. (Keisha); her siblings, Anthony James Massey Jr. (Alexis) of Youngsville, LA., Akian Massey of Crowley, LA., Jakoriyon Belair of Jennings, LA., Jireh Watson of Baton Rouge, LA., Khalid Watson of Baton Rouge, LA and Makenzie Lyons of Jennings, LA; her paternal great-grandmother, Rosie Massey of Jennings, LA; her nephew, Dallas Massey of Youngsville, LA; her aunts, Sheba Day of Jennings, LA, Chris, Kimberly Kately (Michael Jackson) of Norfolk, VA, and Chris Kately of Jennings, LA; her uncles, Derrick Kately of Norfolk, VA., and Christopher Kately of Jennings, LA.

Kadijah was preceded in death by er paternal grandmother, Pamela Denise Massey; her maternal grandparents, Irma Kately and Wilson Day; her uncle, Adrian Massey.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 11, 2023, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the chapel from 9 am - 11 am.
