Kandace Danae Perossier-Carrell, 34, passed away at Jennings American Legion Hospital in Jennings, LA with her family by her side.  Kandace was born to Terry Lynn Perossier and Eric Bernard Weeks on August 13, 1987 in Jennings, LA.  Kandace was an honor graduate of Midland High School and went on to earn an Associate Degree.  She attended the University of Louisiana Lafayette, Southwest Louisiana Community College in Crowley to pursue her degree in Nursing.  She worked at Camelot Nursing Home in Jennings until her heath began to fail.  Kandace battled cancer all of her life and would never give up.  She was determined to live life to it's fullest.  Kandace was married to Jared William Carrell.

Kandace leaves to cherish her fond memories, her husband, Jared W. Carrell; her mother, Terry Lynn Perossier; her father Eric Weeks; her siblings, Taylor Perossier, Jessical Weeks, Kristin Weeks, Quintin Weeks, and Tyran Weeks; her aunts, Pam Perossier, Tammy Tyler, and Phyllis Granger; her uncle, Gerald Perossier; her nephews, Bryson and Ahmad; her niece, Destiny; her goddaughter, Abby Carrell; her special friends that never left her side; a host of other relatives and friends.

Kandace was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alcide and Margie Perossier; her paternal grandmother, Louise Weeks.

Celebration of Life Services for Kandace will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA.  Reverend Dr. Stacy Poullard will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be in the chapel from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
