Mr. Kenneth Patrick Drake Sr., 49 died on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Kenneth was born on August 9, 1963 to Emily (Duplechan) Drake and Samuel Drake Sr. in Lafayette, LA. He was raised in Crowley, LA by his auntie, Ruby Drake. Mr. Drake worked as a Flooring Specialist and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mary Kay Drake, one daughter; Kiana Lewis of Crowley, one son; Kenneth Drake Jr. of Crowley, six brothers, Samuel Drake Jr., Paul Drake, and Eddie Collins of Crowley, Bryant Drake of Humble, TX., Sammie Drake III and Steve Allen of Fort Smith, AK., ten sisters, Marie Beverly, Louella Arceneaux, April Drake, Barbara Onezine, Donna Collins of Crowley, Katrina Collins, Stephanie Allen of Lafayette, Margaret Drake of Morgan City, Albertha Green of Virginia, Signora Carmouche of Baltimore, Maryland, two step-daughters; Justice Mathieu of Baton Rouge and D'abione Bradley of Jennings, and one grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Assembly Of God Northside located in Crowley, LA. Burial will be in Silverwood Community Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.
