Listen to Obituary

Kenneth ‘Pew Wee’ Guillory, 82, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 3, 2026. Kenneth was born in Welsh, LA to the late August O and Edith Keys Guillory. He was baptized at an early age and was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Kenneth was married to the late Eula Guillory for 41 years and had two loving children.

Kenneth dedicated many years of his life to working as a diesel mechanic for Welsh Irrigation & Equipment. Known as the family’s mechanic, he was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone needed their vehicle repaired.

When he wasn’t under the hood of a car, you could usually find him in the kitchen frying fish and shrimp or outside tending the pit with a pork steak on the grill. He also enjoyed his daily walks from S. Simmons to Keys Road.

Above all, Kenneth’s greatest joy in life was his family. They were his entire world, and he was incredibly proud of the accomplishments of Gabe and Abby. One of his favorite daily traditions was enjoying his morning cup of coffee at “Mama’s House” with his siblings. He also cherished the years he spent living with Krissy and Leilah.

During his final days, Kenneth was surrounded by an outpouring of love and support. His siblings stood faithfully by his side, never leaving him alone, and their unwavering presence brought him comfort until the very end. Of course, he also had the company of his beloved great-niece, Gigi his “little nurse,” whom he loved and adored.

Kenneth is survived by his grandchildren, Krystiana, Gabriel, and Abigayle; his great-granddaughter, LeiLah; his siblings, Mary, who was also his primary caregiver and godchild, Theresa, Inez, August, Leon, Irvin (Veronica), and Christopher; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula; his beloved children, Dawn and Curtis; his parents, August and Edith; his brothers, Stafford and Patrick; and his sisters, Georgia and Cora.
