Funeral service for Kenneth Lee Herbert, 56, will be at 12 noon Tuesday, November 14, at Jennings' Greater First Apostolic Church, 1708 W.  Division Street in Jennings, LA.  Pastor Brother Davis Anderson, will officiate.  Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Jennings, LA.

Kenneth entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in a New Orleans Hospital.  He was a native of New Iberia, LA. and was a resident of Jennings, LA.  He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Jennings, where he was a Sunday School Teacher and Custodian at the church.  He retired from Morton's Salt Company.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Mrs. Donna Weston Herbert, one daughter, Kendra (Tarvorious) Alexander, two sons; Kenneth (Kyarie) Herbert , Jr. all of Lake Arthur and James (Lorena) Drayton, of Houston, Tx.; one brother Leroy (KImberly) Herbert of New Iberia and two sisters, Katherine (Sanders) Walker and Ethel (Ellis) Wright of New Iberia. 7 grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Lula and Essau Herbert, Sr; two sisters, Joyce Finley and Joan Bonhomme; one brother, Essau Herbert, Jr; two grandchildren.
