His Story                                            His Life                                          His Legacy

On Monday, July 26, 2021, Kenneth E. Milton, a loving husband, and dedicated father answered to the voice of God and transitioned from Earth to Heaven, at the age of 61.  He was being cared for at Kindred Hospital located in Houston, Texas at the time of his death.

Kenneth was born May 17, 1960, to Theodore and Mary Milton.  He was a graduate of Forest Brook High School in Houston, Texas. After being employed by National Flame Import in Houston, Texas, he was later employed by the Treasure Chest Casino in Kenner, Louisiana.  Kenneth held several jobs in his lifetime, but at the time of his death, he was employed by Fort Bend Sheriff's Department in Richmond, Texas.

In 1980, he made a commitment to God to join in a lifelong marriage with Sandra Robinson.  Kenny honored that decree as he stated over 40 years ago, "Til death do us part."  To this union, Kenny became a proud father with the birth of Kendra Milton.  One of the greatest joys of his life was "his baby."  He also had two adopted daughters, Joy Johnson and Courtney Piper, also have reaped the benefits of his fatherly love.

Kenneth was loved and respected by many.  He had a passion for cooking and thoroughly enjoyed fishing.  He was a very competitive person;  whether it was a domino game or simple sports talk with friends, he enjoyed spending time with family, as well as hosting and showing off his cooking skills.  Kenny had an infectious sense of humor and could make anyone laugh with his unique responses.  Kenny would not have done well in the COVID-19 environment, for he believed in opening the doors of his home and making everyone feel welcomed.

He leaves to carry his memory and legacy, his loving wife, Sandra Milton, and daughters Kendra Milton of Houston, TX, Joy Johnson and Courtney Piper, both of New Orlean; Seven brothers: Theodore J. Milton, III (Jacqueline), Derrick Milton, Sr. (Patricia), Ronald Milton (Brenda), Darnell Milton (Angie}, Kevin Milton (Franchia) all of Houston, TX; David Milton (Linda) of New Orleans, LA, and Kirk Milton (Caroline) of Humble, TX; One sister, Kim Milton Enchill (George) of New Jersey; Mother-in-law, Ora Robinson of Lake Arthur, LA: Four brothers-in-law: Calvin Robinson, Sr. (Mable) of San Antoinio, Tx; Auldon Robinson, Sr. (Trina); and Ivory Robinson both of Lake Arthur; Three sisters-in-law: Carolyn Charles (Edmond), Phyllis Robinson (Lee James), Vanessa Chaney (Earles) all of Lake Arthur; Two godchildren: Roderick Cawthorne, Jr. and Jerica Cawthorne, both of Lafeyette, LA, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends including his favorite nieces, Kenli Banks and Karrington Williams both of Lake Arthur, LA.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Mary Milton; Maternal grandparents, David, and Lula Davidson; Paternal grandparents, Theodore, Sr. And Altee Milton; Step grandfather, Obie Jones; and his father-in-law, Earnest L. Robinson.
