Miss Kiauna Ja'-net Pouchie, 24, a native and resident of Lake Charles, LA transitioned from earthly labor to eternal rest.  Kiauna was born on September 13, 2001, in Lake Charles, LA to Jennifer Ann Guillory and Kendall Pouchie.  Kiauna accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Saints Cathedral Church of God in Christ, pastored by Dr. Michael Cuba, Jr.  She served her church as a Praise Dancer and Worship Leader.  Kiauna was a 2020 graduate of Washington-Marion Magnet High School and a 2023 graduate of Avery James School of Cosmetology.  She was a well-known Hair-Stylist in Lake Charles.

Kiauna leaves to cherish her memories one son, Makai Mekel Williams of Lake Charles, LA; her significant other, Malik Williams; her mother, Jennifer Ann Guillory-Poullard (Derrick) of Lake Charles, LA; her father, Kendall Pouchie of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Osha Harris (Barry) of Austin, TX, Meiko Lafanette of Lake Charles, LA, Jalyn Rhodes (Halle Pruitt) of Lake Charles, LA, Christopher Lafanette of New Port, VA., Destiny Guillory, Keirra Pouchie both of Lake Charles, LA, Cierra Rucker of Austin, TX, Kendall Pouchie Jr. of Lake Charles, LA and Tatianna Joseph of Houston, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kiauna was preceded in death by her maternal grandfathers, Earnest Guillory and Louis Pete; her paternal grandparents, Betty & Robert Pouchie.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Greater Freeman Church of God In Christ, 2627 Hodges St, Lake Charles, LA with Elder Darnold T. Catlon and Dr. Michael Cuba, Jr. officiating.  Visiting with family and friends will be held from 9:00am – 11:00am in the church.  Interment will follow in Perkins Cemetery in Westlake, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
