Kurt Wade Sinegal, 47, a resident of Jennings, Louisiana, passed away at Ochsner Jennings American Legion Hospital. Kurt was born on November 6, 1978, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Carla Denise Sinegal-Allen and the late Edward James Davis. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, pastored by Reverend Jude Fernando, TOR. Kurt was a graduate of Parkview Christian School in Sulphur, Louisiana. Kurt was a loving, funny, and free-spirited person who had a way of making everyone around him smile. He loved animals, music, fishing, riding around town, and spending time with his family and friends. Kurt was known for telling jokes, clowning around, and bringing laughter wherever he went. He had a special gift for making people feel comfortable and loved.

Lovingly raised by his grandmother, Lillie Joyce, Kurt grew up alongside his cousins Agnes, Chassidy, Antoneshia, and Levi. He was like a big brother to all of his cousins and always looked after “his crew.” His caring spirit extended beyond his family, as he was loved by his neighborhood nieces and nephews and many friends who cherished his unforgettable personality.

Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Edward James Davis; his maternal grandparents, Lillie and Joseph; his paternal grandparents, Annie Davis and Audrey Davis; his godfather, Lee Woods; and two close friends, Paul Broussard III and Raynell Dispany.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother, Carla Denise Sinegal-Allen; his brother, Edward Sinegal; his godchild, Milo Walker; close friends McQuinn Walker, Jalisa Sanders, and Sheika Williams; and a host of aunts and uncles who will miss him dearly, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Kurt's laughter, humor, love of music, and generous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
