Lee Allison "QweeK" Bias, 63, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2018.  Lee was a native and resident of Jennings, LA.  He was well known in the community and loved helping people and local businesses.  Lee was a 1972 graduate of Jennings High School where he excelled in academics, baseball and basketball.  He attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA on a full Scholarship.  Lee was a former employee of the City of Jennings, Parks and Recreation Department as a Lifeguard.

Lee is survived by two brothers, Edward and Joe Nixon; five sisters, Willie Bell George, Odelia Williams, Cecilia Byers, Mathilda Byers, and Beatrice Zachary; a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Bias; relatives, Able Nixon, Melvin Nixon, Frank Lemon, Rose Senegal, Rita Francis and Betty Sue White.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Semien-Lewis Mortuary in the David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA., with Reverend Pernell Trent officiating. Visitation will be held in the chapel from 10:30 am until the time of the Memorial Service.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
