Lee Howard Jones Sr., 84 Mr. Lee Howard Jones Sr. entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 6, 2011 in Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, LA. Mr. Jones was a native and resident of Jenning, LA. He was a member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church where he served a s a Deacon. Mr. Jones serve in the United States Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. He was employed as a carpenter and sand blaster at a shipyard. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Stagg of Jennings, LA. Three grandchildren, Trina Jones, Shaneka Simon and Shannon Jones all of Jennings. One daughter-in-law Mrs. Mamie Jones of Jennings, two sister-in-laws Viola Jones of Beaumont, TX., Annie Bell Chretien of Port Arthur, TX., and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Reverend Carl Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am in the church until the time of funeral.
