Leonard Malveaux, 81, a native and resident of Jennings, Louisiana, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at his residence.  Leonard was born on September 6, 1939, in Jennings, LA to the late Norland and Australia Netty Malveaux.  Upon completing his education, Leonard worked for the City of Rayne as a Truck Driver in the Sanitation Department.

Leonard leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Renetta Nixon Robinson (Bret) of Jennings, LA; two grandsons, Loren Jacol Nixon and Marcus Jarel Nixon of Jennings, LA; one brother, Ervin Malveaux of Jennings; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Nixon, Makayla Nixon, and Trevon Nixon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Leonard was preceded in death by both of his parents, Norland and Australia Malveaux.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, March 12, 2021, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  Reverend Pernell R. Trent Sr. will officiate.  Visiting will be in the Chapel from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral.  Burial will follow in Peterson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
