Lillie Mae Davis Black was born April 5, 1936, to the late Matthew Davis and Josephine Lewis Davis.  Lillie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age. Lillie worked as a Wal-Mart receiving manager until she retired. Lillie loved to help other people and most of all, she loved her family and church family.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Tammy (Terry) Follins of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Timothy Davis of Marietta, Georgia, Melanie Davis Alexander of Iowa, Louisiana, Lynette (Michael) Benoit of Jennings, Louisiana, Sharon Wade of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and Greginald (Gayle) Winfrey of Del Valle, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Megan, Whitney, Dustin, Shonte, Jacqueline, Alexis, Delores, Deana, Tyre, Timothy II, and Greginald Jr; 19 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Black Jr; her parents, Josephine Lewis-Davis and Matthew Davis; and her great-granddaughter, Janae' Dartez.
