Linda Gail "Pugga" Jones, 66, of Crowley, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Ochsner University Hospital in Lafayette, LA.  Linda was born on August 24, 1956 in Branch, Louisiana to Elizabeth "Effie" Alexander and Leemya Mouton, Sr.  Linda completed her education and later married Arthur Lee Jones and worked as a Housekeeper at Camelot Nursing Home.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Arthur Lee Jones; three sons, Joseph Mouton, V. H. Mouton, and Carl Senegal; seven daughters, Vetra Mouton, Dorothy Handy, Alice Mouton, Linda Mouton, Yola Handy, Deidra Handy, and Phoebe Lewis;  four brothers, Barnaby Jones, Alvin Jones, Leemya Mouton, Jr., and Philip Mouton; twelve sisters, Mary Mouton, Glenda Redeaux, Viney Edwards, Alfreda Jones, Angelique Ramos, Sarah Jones, Wilda Jones, Janet Thomas, Della Mouton, Rockill Griffin, Sandra Griffin, and Estelle Gus; 42 grandkids and 34 great-grandkids.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11 am Friday, December 9, 2022, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary.  Reverend Pernell R. Trent, Sr. will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be from 9 am - 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Peterson Memorial Cemetery in Jennings, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
