Linda Marie "Sis" Bias, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while surrounded by her loving family.  Linda was a native of Ville Platte, Louisiana and lived most of her life in Lake Charles, LA.  Linda was born on May 7, 1949, to her loving parents, Morris Dicks and Joyce Anderson Dicks.  She was a devoted member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Earnest Ford.  Linda loved singing for Lord and was a devoted Christian.  Linda served as a Board Member of the 7th District Baptist Association.  Prior to her illness, Linda was self-employed as a caterer and decorator.

Linda is survived by her husband, Shirley "Man" Bias, Jr; two sons, Jamar Arnez Bias and Troy Wayne Dicks, both of Lake Charles, LA; three daughters, Tammy Abel (Lonnie) of Lake Charles, LA., Arica Bias and Miosha Bias, both of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Doris "Darlene" Leday (Calvin) of Ville Platte, LA; eight grandchildren, Marquias Bias, Jasmine Abel, Keyona Blue, Christian Abel; Demarion Bias, King Bias, Danny McClain Jr., and Troylen Stewart.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Dicks and Joyce Anderson.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 24, 2020, in First New Life Missionary Baptist Church, 311 1st Ave, Lake Charles, LA 70601.  Visitation will be held in the Church from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
