Brother Lindbergh Kaglear, 89 of Woodville, MS,  transitioned to his heavenly home on May 1, 2025, at 7:45 pm while surrounded by his loving family.

Lindbergh Kaglear was born February 17, 1936, to the late John and Ellen Sago Kaglear.  He was baptized at an early age and later in life, he became a member of Chapel Baptist Church in Woodville, MS.  He remained a devoted follower of Christ as he served on the Usher Board throughout his life.  His faith shaped his character; gentle, generous, and full of grace.

Lindbergh was educated in the top rafters of an old church.  He was formerly employed as an Operator with Allied Chemical Plastic Plant until he retired.  He was also a carpenter, mechanic, hunter, and a jack of all trades as he would say.  Lindbergh was previously married to the late Gloria Halford-Kaglear and to this union four daughters were born.  He later married Audrey W. Kaglear of Woodville, MS., whom stood faithfully by his side, working tirelessly through every amazing joy and every trial, especially during his long illness.  With Audrey, he found peace and unwavering love.  Together they lived a life of quiet strength and lasting devotion until his final breath; "Until death do us part!"

Lindbergh was a joy to be around with such a cheerful spirit.  He was a person who kept a big smile on his face and was loved by all who met him.  He loved and cherished his family and treasured all their time together.  We all loved him Dearly.

Lindbergh leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Audrey W. Kaglear of Woodville, MS; five daughters, Shelia (Donald) Tezano, Carol (Vincent) Hutchinson, Jackie (Edward) Williams all of Baton Rouge, LA., Shaterrica Dixon and Sheron (Ronald) Norman of Baker, LA; three sons, Bryant (Ashley) Kaglear of Baker, LA, Marquette (Rometrious) Daigle of Jonesboro, GA, and Terry Wilson of Woodville, MS; one sister, Ruby Payne; two brothers, John Kaglear Jr. and St. Clair (Rosella) Kaglear; four sister's-in-law, Eva Brown, Hester (Michael) Eby, Barbara (James) Singleton and Linda Halford; three brother's-in-law, Alfred Wilson, John (Deloris) Williams and Leon Halford; 29 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen Sago Kaglear, his first wife, Gloria H. Kaglear; his son, Don Wilson; nine siblings, Oletha Johnson, Jessie Mae Cavilear, Oceal Lane, Annie R. Hogan, Edward Kaglear, Sylvester Kaglear, Oliver Kaglear, Clinton Kaglear and Oscar Kaglear; Four grandkids Traneka Tezano, Davontae Cosey, Azariah Hutchinson and Brandon Hutchinson.

Celebration of Life & Legacy Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Chapel Baptist Church, 659 Donegal Road in Woodville, MS.  Pastor Charles E. Bell will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, May 16, 2025 at Wooddale-Wilson Funeral Home, 1553 Wooddale Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA  and again from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday, at Chapel Baptist Church in Woodville, MS.  Interment will be in Cedar Rest Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
