Mrs. Lisa Lynette West-Solomon , 49, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas.  Lisa was a born on December 29, 1967 to her mother, Georgia Rose Fondel West and Allen West Rashada.  She was a 1986 graduate of Washington High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana and later moved to Spring, Texas.

Lisa was baptized at an early age at New Emanuel Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA. by the late Reverend L. B. Goins.  She later joined Traveler's Rest Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA.  Lisa enjoyed cooking and having family and friends over for Barbeques and Crawfish Boils.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Carl Solomon of Spring, TX; mother, Georgia Rosa Fondel-West of Missouri City, TX; father, Allen West Rashada of Houston, TX; sister, Meghann Castro (Milthon) of Missouri City, TX; paternal grandmother, Doretha Anderson of Lake Charles, LA;  mother-in-law, Odessa Solomon of Houston. TX; sister-in-law, Karen West of Lake Charles, LA; numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter, Zharia Mone Harmon; brother, Darren West, Sr; maternal grandparents Marion Fondel, Sr. & Ruth Fondel; paternal grandfather, Seymour Anderson; paternal great-grandparents, David James Fondel, Sr. & Rosa Wiliams Fondel; maternal great-grandparents, Jessie Paige & Georgia Paige.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at True Light Baptist Church, located at 1518 Gerstner Memorial Drive in Lake Charles, LA., with Pastor Dr. Alvin J. Noel, Th.D. officiating  A visitation will be held in the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
