Ms. Lorena Ann Miller, age 68, was called from her earthly labor to her heavenly reward on May 21, 2015. Ms. Miller was a native and life-long resident of Jennings, LA. She was born on August 6, 1946 to the late Frank and Alberta Davis Miller. Ms. Miller was a presser for Broussard Cleaners in Jennings, LA.. She was a faithful member at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church. She served on the Usher Board, finance committee, and was an obedient woman of God. Ms. Miller is survived by her daughter, Kecia R. Miller of Jennings, LA.; one brother, Leonard Davis Jr. of Texas City, TX.; three sisters, Lela Gibson of Silver Springs, MD., Linda Hazzard of Texas City, TX., and Cynthia Cormier of Memphis, TN.. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Frank and Alberta Davis Miller; three sons, Pernell "Beau" Miller, Marcus "Eric" Miller, and Terry Miller; two sisters, Frankie L. Williams and Paulette Edwards. A great niece, Kerrigan Edwards and a great nephew, Chuckie Lewis. Visitation is Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church at 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Funeral service is at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Carl Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in Peterson Cemetery in Jennings, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary. 2 Timothy 4:7-8: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
