Lovenia "Mo Tin" Pattom-Thibodeaux, 73, passed away peacefully at her residence while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  Lovenia was a native and life-long resident of Welsh, Louisiana.  She was baptized at an early age and was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Welsh, LA. pastored by Reverend Jude Fernando.  She was born is Welsh, LA. on September 7, 1944 to the late, Levenia Joseph and Sidney Pattom, Sr.  Lovenia was a Housewife and an loved cooking; she was known as the Boudin & Rice Dressing Queen.

Lovenia is survived by her children, Lucinda Pattum Viney, Artigus (Neketa) Viney, Alonzo Pattum, Rumaine (Precious) Thibodeaux, Lucretia (Jermaine) Thibodeaux and Tamorick Jackson; brother, George Pattum; sister, Elodie Goodwin; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; five Godchildren.

Lovenia was preceded in death by her spouse, Willie Thibodeaux; son, Jermaine Keith Thibodeaux; parents, Sidney Pattom & Levenia Joseph; five sisters and four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 310 N Sarah Street, Welsh, LA. 70591 with Reverend Jude Fernando officiating.  Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of religious services.  A Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the church.  Burial will be in Bon Pasteur Cemetery, South Simons - Welsh, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
