Lula K. Perkins, age 66 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. Lula was a retired CNA. Lula is survived by her children, Deidra (Melvin) Johnson, Monica (Prentice) Ross, Kippie (Angelia) Watson and Unwon Watson of Orange, TX; four sisters, Ethel Dixon of Port Arthur, TX, Patricia (Edgar) Manuel of Lake Charles, LA, Jane Ethel Withers of Jennings, LA, Jacqueline Varner of Lake Charles, LA; four brothers, Wilbert Lennette of Port Arthur, LA, Jimmy (Lois) Lennette of Marrero, LA, Patrick (Kay) Macliss Lennette of Lake Charles, LA, and Patrick McKenly Lennette of Port Arthur, LA; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Ethel Lennette; three sisters, Mable Babnineaux, Kay Shirley Simpson and Theresa Lennette; two brothers, Amos Lennette and Joseph Lennett. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Connection of Divinity Church at 911 Industrial St. in Vinton, LA. with Pastor Derrick Martin officiating.
