Lutisha R. Gordon Deville, of Sulphur, LA., died on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Lutisha was born in Westlake, LA., on September 2, 1937 to her loving parents, Murrel and Marcella Rigmaiden. Lutisha was a member of True Light Missionary Baptist Church located in Lake Charles, LA., pastored by Reverend Dr. Alvin Joseph Noel. She belonged to the Mission Ministry, Love-N-Action Ministry, Sisters Surviving Support Group, and was a 16-year Breast Cancer Survivor. She is survived by one daughter, Veronica Faye Gordon (Rev. Dr. Alvin Joseph) Noel, of Sulphur, LA; five Grandchildren; and six Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Murrel Rigmaiden; mother, Marcella Rigmaiden; three brothers, Nolan Braxton, Ollie Braxton, and L.C. Rigmaiden; one daughter, Melba Diana "Black" Gordon Vincent; and one stepson, Clarence "Peanut" Deville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in True Light Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Alvin Joseph "Joe-Joe" Noel officiating. Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., at True Light Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1518 Highway 14, Lake Charles, LA. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery, located in Westlake, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
