Mrs. Lynette Johnson White, age 55, departed this life on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Jennings American Legion Hospital located in Jennings, La.

Mrs. White was a native of Roanoke, LA., and a member of St. James Baptist Church.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Arthur White; two daughters, DaMonica Johnson of Columbia, S.C., and Cherise Johnson of Lake Charles, LA. One son, Harold Johnson of Columbia, S.C., and a host of grandkids and one God Child.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levy Sr. and Bernice Hector Johnson; and one brother, Charles Hector.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Semien-Lewis Mortuary with the Reverend Lawrence Shelvin officiating.  Visitation will be in the church chapel from 8:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Silverwood Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
