Be devoted to one another in love.  Honor one another above yourselves – Romans 12:10

Mack Ellis Segura III, 65 entered into eternal rest on Saturday March 1, 2024 at Landmark Rehabilitation Center in Rayne, Louisiana at 12:56 AM. Our loving brother Mack was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on July 12, 1958, to his parents Mack Ellis Segura II and Lovie Margret Segura.  He was the third of eight children.  Mack lived his school years and early working life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He worked in the Steel Industry as a skilled laborer and later managed night clubs.  He then lived in Southwest Louisiana (Lake Arthur, New Iberia and Gueydan) working in the Oil and Gas Industry offshore in the Gulf of Mexico utilizing his extraordinary blasting and painting skills and managing night clubs. He retired to Portsmouth, Virginia to be with family.

Mack enjoyed cooking, fishing, dancing and listening to oldies, avid Green Bay Packers fan and most all Mack was known for spreading love, care and concern to everyone he knew and met.   His love and compassion for others was unmatched.  He never met a stranger and people gravitated to him.

Mack leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters Lovita Dixon (Joe) of Hastings, Nebraska; Latoya Parr (Antoni) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and one son Mack Ellis Segura IV of Portsmouth, Virginia. He also leaves four sisters – Debbie Segura, Deadra Owen Segura, Josephine Mann (Brian) and Dessica Segura all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and one brother Jerome Segura (Nina) also of Milwaukee, one Aunt and Uncle – Alberta and Jessie Guidry of Jennings, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews,  grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Lovie Segura, Kendra Segura (sister), Peggy Joyce Segura (sister) and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins he loved dearly.
