Marie Audrey Meno, 83 was a native of Indian Bayou, LA and a resident of Jennings, LA. Marie went home to glory on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 3:36 PM, while in the arms of her youngest daughter, Velta. She was a member of In Jesus Name Ministries. Marie recently returned home to Jennings, LA after years of retirement from the Louisiana State Department of Education in Baton Rouge, LA. She was proceeded in death by her parents Clarence Breaux and Rita Stevens Breaux, sister Cerella Rosette, daughter Rita Buckley, husband Joseph Ward Meno, great-granddaughter Kiera Barrett, son Stanley Ward Meno, and granddaughter Tracy Buckley. Marie now resides in heaven, leaving behind her sister, Georgiana Handy, daughters Dianne (Howard) Bagwell, Jo Ann Meno, and Velta (Dwayne) Viney, her son Wayne Meno; grandchildren, Jennifer Buckley, Shelton Buckley, Jr. , Marie Buckley, Joseph Buckley, Eric Meno, Christy (Michael) Burnett, Stacy (Dexter) Broussard, Brittany Viney, Stanley Joseph Meno, Christopher Meno, Phillip Meno, Christina Meno, Kellie Meno, and Katie Meno and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel, Pastor Joseph K. Butler, In Jesus Name Ministry will Officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Jennings, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
