Mr. Mark Anthony Simien, 44, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his residence. Mark was born on January 12, 1969 to Martha Joseph Harrison and Martin "Bubby" Simien. He was a native and life-long resident of Lake Charles, LA. and a member of Greater Saint Mary Baptist Church, pastored by Reverend Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert Jr. Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Mrs. Martha Joseph harrison; four sisters, Patsy (Herbert) James, Erica Simien, Janice (Darrell) Drake, and Danielle Simien, all of Lake Charles; two stepsisters, Heartcese & Charlotte Harrison, both of Lake Charles; three stepbrothers, Henry "Pop" Harrison of Lake Charles, Cornelius (Julie) Jones of Sulphur, LA and Marvin Jones. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin "Bubby" Simien; stepfather, Henry Harrison, sister, Susan E. Doucet, niece, Des'Zaria Diggs and great-nephew, Hayden Malbrough. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Greater St. Mary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert Jr. officiating.
