Ms. Coleman was born in Jennings, LA, on May 31, 1948, to the late Richard James Coleman Sr. and Margie Morrell Coleman. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings, LA, and a beloved educator in the Jefferson Davis Parish School System.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1502 S. Main Street in Jennings, LA. Pastor Reverend Pernell R. Trent Sr. will officiate. Visiting with family and friends will be in the church from 10:30 am until the time of the Celebration Service. Burial will be in the Benevolent Cemetery in Jennings, LA, under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
