Marvin Ray George, 45, a native of Crowley, LA, and a resident of Snellville, GA, departed this life on June 18, 2026, at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA. Marvin was born on November 12, 1980, in Crowley, LA, to Patricia Ann George and Michael James George Sr. Marvin was baptized into the Catholic faith at St. Theresa Catholic Church, marking the beginning of a lifelong walk with Christ. He was currently attending Berean Christian Church Gwinnett in Snellville, GA. Marvin received his primary and secondary education in the Acadia Parish School System. Marvin has been employed for the past 7 years as the Store Manager at Lennox Home Comfort Solutions.

Marvin is survived by his children, Bailey Simone Bell, Mackenzie Michelle George, Karter Tristen George, and Micah Chance George; his father, Michael James George Sr of Crowley, LA; one brother, Anthony George; one sister, Tricia Richardson; a host of other relatives and friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann George, and one brother, Michael James George Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 417 West 3rd St, in Crowley, LA. Pastor Reverend Mark Odoguje will be the Celebrant. Visiting with family and friends will be in the Church from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Cremation will follow under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
