Mary Andranize Chargois, 76, of Jennings, known by most as "Popoose", was born on November 30, 1947 to Inez Catalon-Chargois and Frank Chargois.  Popoose had a very big heart and showed compassion for everyone.  Her vibrant spirit and caring demeanor touched the lives of many,  especially her grandchildren.  Popoose will be dearly missed by all. She peacefully departed this life on November 23, 2024 at her home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her life long companion, Terrell; her children, Hermis (Patricia), Theresa, Tyrone, Johnny and Kimberly (Bobby); her grandchildren, Charmine, Ty'nia,  Skylar, Serenity, Garionna, Garriett, Kimora, Tyron, Tyrone-Jr, Ormini, Mia and Diamond; 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to sincerely express their gratitude and thanks to the staff at Heart of Hospice of Lake Charles, LA for the compassionate care provided to their mother & grandmother.

The family selected cremation as the mean of final disposition and will have a private memorial service at a later date.  Please keep the Chargois family in your prayers.
