Mary Nell Gobert 90, was born in Woodlawn, Louisiana on November 2, 1931, and passed away peacefully in her sleep in Austin, TX on March 5th, 2022.  She was a dedicated wife, aunt, sister and friend. Those who knew and loved her called her "Jig" because she loved to dance. She was never afraid of hard work being one of the first women to work in the local refinery plant.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Walls and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who she adopted as her own.  The love, laughter, lessons, and pure joy she brought into this world will always be remembered.  We will miss her zydeco dancing, timeless advice, and strong work ethic. Our family was blessed to have her as long as we did, and she will never be forgotten.
