Mary Annette Cormier Landry , 70 of Crowley, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.  Annette was born May 10, 1954 to Velma Dugas-Cormier and Lester Cormier Sr. of Crowley, LA.  She attended Saint Theresa Catholic School until the 9th grade and was a graduate of Crowley High School.

Annette had a career at Albertsons as a Deli manager and later worked at Flexitallic Rubber Products in Deer Park, Texas.  She was a faithful parishioner of Saint Theresa Catholic Church, pastored by Rev. Mark Odoguje where she served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and served with the Ladies Auxiliary.  Annette was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Legion of Mary, Ladies, and The Ladies Society of St Joseph.

In October of 2007, Annette married James Edward Landry; they were married for 12 years until his death in January of 2019.  Annette left an enduring legacy of kindness and warmth in the hearts who knew her. Even in her absence her gentle spirit remains present in the stories we share and the unwavering love she had for her family. Though we will deeply miss her physical presence, the memories of her infectious joy and unwavering support continue to guide us through life, reminding us of the profound impact she had on our lives.

Annette leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters, Catherine Smith, Shirley Cormier, Theresa Thibodeaux (Lawrence), Brenda Bob (Paul), and Susan Driskill; her brothers; Lester Cormier Jr., Kevin Cormier (Paula), and Blaine Cormier; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Landry; her brothers, Felton Cormier Sr., Shelton Hill, and Derek Cormier; her sister, Pamela Cormier; her parents, Velma Dugas-Cormier and Lester Cormier Sr.; her grandmother, Odell Dugas; her aunt, Bertha Dugas; her nephew, Felton Cormier, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 10:00am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 417 W 3rd St, Crowley, LA. Reverend Mark Odoguje, Pastor will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be held in the church from 8:00 am until the time of the Mass.  A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am in the church.  Burial will follow in the South Crowley Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
