Mary Frances Prudhomme-Fuselier, 75, a native and life-long resident of Kinder, LA., passed away at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Mary was born on September 18, 1948 in Kinder, LA to the late Theresa Dumas and Audrey Prudhomme. She was baptized at an early age and was a faithful member of Saint Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder, LA., pastored by Reverend Alan Trouille. After many years of dedicated work, Mary retired from the Allen Parish School System as a Cafeteria Worker at Kinder High School.
Mary loved to cook, she loved watching game shows and her favorite game show was Family Feud hosted by Steve Harvey. Mary loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her children, Valerie Fuselier, David Wayne Fuselier & his wife Jasmine; her grandchildren, Danien, Nicholas, Cameron, and Jaxon; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Belinda Prudhomme of St. Joseph, LA; her brother, Lonnie Paul Prudhomme & wife Brenda of Sacramento, CA; a special relative, Mary "Liz" Harmon; a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey and Theresa Prudhomme; her son, Lloyd Fuselier, Jr. "Boo"; her brother, Jimmy "Tippy" Prudhomme; her sister, Joyce Lemelle.
Visiting with family and friends will be held from 8 am to 10 am Friday, March 8, 2024, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am at Saint Phillip Neri Catholic Church, 607 4th Avenue in Kinder, LA. Reverend Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery in Kinder, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
