Maxine Harris, 77, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020, in Iowa, LA.  Maxine was a native and resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana.  She was born on February 9, 1943, to the late Joe Harris II and Willie Mae Andrus Harris.  Maxine worked as a personal caregiver.

Maxine leaves to cherish her loving memories, one son, Morris Harris (Fritz); fiancee, Ray Durousseau; three brothers, Joe harris III of Lake Charles, LA., Littell Harris (Shiela) of Dallas, TX., and Pierce Harris (Verline) of Florida; one sister, Annie Harris of Lake Charles, LA; one great-niece, Fan Harris; best friends, Annie & Michael Hannon.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 16, 2020, in Combre Memorial Park, Lake Charles, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA
