Mike Steven, 67, a resident of Beaumont, Texas and former resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana until Hurricane Laura in August of 2020.   Mike was born on March 17, 1954 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Rena Myers Steven and Wallace Steven, Sr.  Mike passed away peacefully on August 28, 2021, at Christus Southeast Texas - St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Mike was known for always taking care of others, his love for his family, and maintaining a yard. He had an open-door policy with no questions asked. His loving spirit and kindness were one of a kind. He will be truly missed by all those who ever encountered him.

Mike is survived by his sons, Michael "Jacoby" Dugas, Clayton Lemont Dugas (April), Keton Demonte Dugas, Michael "M.J." Steven Jr.; 6 Grandkids, and 1 Great Grandson; his sisters, Sandra Gail, Sheila Steven, Alice Trahan, Margaret Steven; his brothers, LeRoy Steven (Bertha), Donald Steven (Martha), Mark Steven (Deidra), Clint Steven, and Gregg Steven (Danelle). He is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mike was proceeded in death by his parents, Wallace Steven Sr. & Rena Myers Steven; his sister Connie Robinson; his brothers, Robert Steven, Johnny Steven, and Wallace Steven Jr.
