Nadine Ladonna Sam Pea , age 42, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 25, 2016. She was a native and resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Nadine was born June 21, 1974 to John Charles Sam and Ethel Semien Sam. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles,         Louisiana, pastored by Reverend V. Wayne LeBleu. Nadine was a graduate of Washington-Marion High School.

Nadine leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Allen Sam and Jalen Pea both of San Antonio Texas; her life companion, Kenneth Gordon; her parents, John Charles Sam, Sr. and Ethel Semien Sam of Lake Charles, Louisiana; five brothers, Norman (Bonita) Sam, Christopher (Edith) Sam, Peter Sam, Thomas (Monica) Sam all of San Antonio, Texas., and Joshua (Retha) Sam of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; six sisters, Charlene (Larry) Malbrough of Church Point, Louisiana, Henrietta (Lawrence) Sterling of San Antonio, Texas, Michelle (Phillip) Derousselle of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Claudine (Anthony) Lafanette of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Yolanda Sam of Dallas, Texas, and Joyce (John) James of Austin, Texas; and James Pea; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Charles Sam, Jr, Ronald Sam and Scotty Sam; Maternal Grandparents, Alceide and Laura Semien; Paternal Grandparents, Octave and Lortine Sam.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 7:30am – 10:30 am at True Light Baptist Church, 1518 Hwy 14 with a rosary starting at 8:00 am. Funeral Mass will start at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Wayne LeBleu, Officiating.
