NANCY ANN AUGUSTUS, age 30 was a native of Crowley, LA and a resident of Dallas, TX.  Nancy passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Dallas.  She was a graduate of Crowley High School, Grambling State University and Paul Quinn University.  She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and Christian Chapel Temple of Faith in Dallas, TX.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Carol Augustus of Crowley, LA; two brothers, Michael Augustus, Jr. and Shawn Augustus, both of Crowley, LA; three sisters, Shelly (Willie) Turner of Dallas, TX.,  Sheila Augustus and Monica Augustus, both of Crowley, LA; one foster sister, Paige Mouton of Crowley, LA; one godchild, Laila Robinson; a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Augustus, Sr.; sister, Sherry Augustus Smith; grandparents, Rosella Spencer, Yancy Spencer, Irma Wright and Harvey Richard.


Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, March 19, 2016 in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA., with Father Godwin Imoru officiating.  Visitation will be in the Church from 8:00 am until the time of the funeral.  A Rosary will be conducted at 9:00 am in the church.

Burial will be in the Crowley City Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis  Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
