Nathaniel "Buster" Allen Smith, age 65 was a native and resident of Lake Charles, LA. He was born on June 27, 1950 to the late Henry & Louella Smith. Nathaniel passed away on October 10, 2015 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Nathaniel was a graduate of Washington High School and later worked in the construction industry for many years at industrial plants in the Lake Charles area. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church of Lake Charles. Nathaniel is survived by his children Quinton D. Papillion (Ashley), Quincy D. Smith, Quindon D. Smith, Robert Thomas, Quintonia D. Papillion, Yolanda Nora, and Katina Rigmaiden; 20-Grandchildren, 5-Great Grandchildren, sisters Maxine (Candy) Smith, Patricia Jones, Mary Louise Bates, Cheryl Willis, and Wanda Bartie all of Lake Charles; brothers Floyd Smith and Henry Lutcher both of Lake Charles. He was preceded in death by both parents, Henry & Louella Smith, brothers Rudolph Smith, Willie Smith, Frankie Smith, and Henry "Butch" Smith. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church located at 1801 2nd Avenue in Lake Charles, LA., followed by the funeral services at 11:00 am with Reverend Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr. Pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA., under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
