Mrs. Nellie Lee Berry, age 67 was a native and resident of Jennings, LA. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at her residence. Nellie was a member of Mt Triumph Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nellie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Horace James Berry Sr.; her children, Doris (Grady) Woods; Samatha (Brenda) Nickolaison; Horace (Michelle) Berry Jr.; Herman (Demetria)) Berry; Carnell (Billy) Walker; Howard (Elizabeth) Berry Sr.; Willie Berry Sr.; Nakia (Kimberly) Berry Sr.; Edith (Michael) Edwards; Lou Ellen Berry; two brothers, Willie (Joyce) Jones Sr. and Herman (Barbara) Jones Sr.; two sisters, Rachel (Junius) Lyons and Neva (Rev. James) Jasper. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by both parents, Herman Jones Sr. and Edith Mae Jones. Her sister, Lou Ellen Alexander; two brothers Billy Jones and Cleveland Jones.One son-in-law, Kelvin Mouton Sr.. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Reverend Carl Fontenot Pastor officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 8:00 am until the time of Funeral Services. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery located in Jennings, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings. Arrangements entrusted to Semien-Lewis Mortuary.
