Mass of Christian burial, celebrating the life of Mrs. Norma J. Abraham, will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Jennings, LA., at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013, with Reverend Celcius Offor, Pastor officiating. Norma was 73 years old and a resident of Jennings, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 in the Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel. A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel. Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary. Mrs. Norma J. Abraham was born on October 26, 1939 in Parks, LA to the late Francis Ebow Sr. and Melba Thibodeaux Ebow. Norma was called from her earthly labor to her heavenly reward on Friday, February 15, 2013 while in a Lafayette Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Red Hat Society, and was a retired Foster Grandparent. Norma is survived by her loving family of five daughters; Anquetta (Clarence) Jolivette of Lake Charles, LA., Germaine (Dolan) Leveen of Phoenix, AZ., Daphne Henderson of Worester, MA., Melba (Lawrence) Guillory of Iowa, LA, and Yolanda Victorian of Jennings, LA., two sons; Frederick (Laticia) Abraham and Patrick (Michelle) Abraham both of Jennings, LA., two sisters; Zelmae (Rufus) Coleman of Omaha, NE., Gerridette Ebow of Parks, LA., twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by both parents; Francis Ebow Sr. and Melba Thibodeaux Ebow, two brothers; Francis Ebow Jr. and Carol Ebow, one grandson; Kaleb Abraham.
