Ollie Marie Guillory Brown, 83, departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Memorial Herman - Pearland, Texas.  Ollie was a native and resident of Jennings, LA until the passing of her husband and moving to Houston, TX to be with children in 1997.  She was born on May 28, 1936, in Jennings, LA to the late, Louis Guillory and Waver Breaux Guillory.  Ollie was educated in the Jefferson Davis Parish School and received her high school diploma.  She later married Henry Brown Sr and to that union, nine children were born.  Ollie was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church of Jennings until moving to Houston, TX.

Ollie leaves to cherish her memories, seven children, Judy Green (Daron), Ella Brown (Curtis), Henry Brown, Jr. (Tamy), James Brown (Uduak), Matthew Brown, Sr. (Pamela) all of Houston, TX., Kenneth R. Brown (Allease) of Milwaukee, WI., and Tyrone Brown, Sr. (Mary) of Jennings, LA; a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Ollie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Brown, Sr; two sons, Melvin Brown and Bradford Brown; parents, Louis and Waver Guillory; all of her siblings.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Union Baptist Church, 1014 S. Main Street, Jennings, LA.  Reverend Gerald Perkins, Sr. will officiate. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 am until the time of Celebration Services.  Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Jennings, LA., under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
