Pamela "Pam" Marie Vital was born September 8, 1963, in Welsh, LA to the late Roberta Lowdins and Russel Vital.  Pam attended school in Welsh, LA.  In 1992 Pam moved to Lake Charles.  Pam worked many jobs as a Caretaker.  She was even a Certified Nursing Assistant Supervisor at St. Martin de Porres.  In 2010 Pam moved to Panama City, Florida where she resided until her death.

Pam was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her 5 children, Eva, John, Javon, Cornetta & Bernitha; 16 grandchildren, Kevan, Christaija, Jessiah, Naria, Nay Nai, Dray, Cotton Candi, Javon Jr, Laina, Ja'vonte, Ja'monte, Rayleigh, Lay, Ky, King & Ja'Niya; 1 great grandchild; 2 god-daughters, Quintessa & Quinterra; 3 sisters, Gwendlyn, Ivory, and Carol Rose; 5 brothers, Harlod (Vandale), Willie, Authur, Grey, and Dicklynn; 5 close friends, Pam Vital-Celestine, Tasha Western, J-Dia Green Jones, Detra Gainer, and Dexter Prudhomme; a host of family friends and coworkers.

She was preceded in death by parents, Roberta Mae Vital & Russel Vital, and Bertha Mae Kaough; her brother, John James Vital.

A special thanks to Tallahassee Memorial, Stacey Jones, Chris, Pam, Quinn, Kahliah, and everyone she talked to everyday.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary at 819 N.  State Street in Jennings, LA.  Celebration of Life Services will begin at 11:00 am with Reverend Carl White, Pastor of Mount Mariah Baptist Church in Lake Charles officiating.  Burial will follow in Eastridge Cemetery in Welsh, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
