Patricia Ann George, 71, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  She was born October 8, 1950, in Crowley, Louisiana to Susie Mae Trahan and Willie Curtis Trahan Sr.  Patricia was raised by her maternal grandmother, Sarah Guidry.  She was a lifelong member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.  Her passion of caring for the elderly led her into a career of healthcare for over 43-years (with 28-years as a Licensed Practical Nurse).  Watching NBA games was her favorite pass-time with an unwavering loyalty to the Los Angeles Lakers.  She enjoyed the sport of bowling and was a member of the Lucky Strike Bowling League.  Patricia liked fishing (Crappies), Bingo, and watching game shows.

Patricia was joined in holy matrimony with Michael J. George, Sr. for fifty-three years.  Together, they had four children and she was devoted to her family.

Patricia leaves behind a host of family and loved ones; her husband, Michael J. George, Sr. of Crowley, LA; two sons, Anthony J. George of Crowley, LA and Marvin R. George of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Tricia M. Richardson (Lukas Richardson) of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Davante George (Koren George), Kiearrha George, Bailey Bell, Hope George, MacKenzie George, Karter George, and Micah George; four great-grandchildren, Nasir George-Campbell, KieLani George-Campbell, Michael J. George III, and Aliyah George; three brothers, Willie Curtis Trahan Jr., Kermit Trahan (Delores Trahan), and John Trahan; three sisters, Brenda McZeal, Teekela Moore (Eddie Moore Sr.), and Mary Trahan ; one daughter-in-law, Stacey George; one godchild, Demetrich Jevon Charles; other loved ones, Clea George, Loraline Victor, and Alverta Douglas; two aunts, one uncle, three sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. George, Jr: her parents, Willie C. Trahan, Sr. and Susie M. Trahan; two brothers, Martin Trahan, Sr. and Curtis Trahan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 19, 2022, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, located at 417 West 3 ^rd Street, Crowley LA.  Father Mark Odoguje will officiate.  Visiting with family and friends will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in the church.  Burial will be in the South Crowley Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
