Patsy Ruth Ragget passed away at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Lake Charles, LA on June 12, 2022.  Patsy was born on September 20, 1934 in Jennings, LA and had lived most of her adult life in Beaumont, TX.  She was united in holy matrimony with Paul Ragget and worked many years as a Custodian at the Taylor Career and Technology Center with the Beaumont Independent School District before retiring.

Patsy leaves to cherish her memories, two nieces, Susan Peterson (Marcus) of Jennings, LA. and Deidre Isom (Kena) of Houston, TX; two nephews, David Handy (Lucinda) of Houston, TX and Jerald Handy.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius Scott and Myrtle Simon Scott; her husband, Paul Ragget and her sister, Ida Mae Simon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 920 S. Broadway St. in Jennings, LA.  Father Jude Fernando will officiate.  Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
