Paul Carroll "Nick" Pattum, 75, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020, at Jennings American Legion Hospital in Jennings, LA.  Paul was born on January 14, 1945 to the late Jessie and Ida Mae Pattum.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings.  He was a devoted member of Greater Freeman Church of God in Christ in Lake Charles, LA where he served faithfully.  Paul was a hard-working man who retired from Leevac Shipyard in Mermentau, LA.  One of Paul's proudest moments was when he graduated from the U.S.A.C. Convocation of the Historical Louisiana First Jurisdiction.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories to his devoted wife of fifty-six year, Katherine C. Pattum; five loving children, Paul G. (Deondra) Pattum, Ethel (Pastor Darnold) Catlon, Tonya Pattum, Shanna (Chris ) Ned and Brennon Pattum; two sisters, Leona Pattum and Brenda Faye Crim; one brother, James Own Pattum; six grandchildren, Lance, Bianca, Mikaylan, Alonzia, Iryanna and Alyssa and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Ida Pattum; siblings, Jeanette Pattum-Williams, Jessie Scott Pattum, Dorothy Joe Pattum-Williams, Veronica Gail LeBlanc, Mary Magline Neal, Margie Ann Williams, and Gregory C. Pattum.

Drive through viewing will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2020, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street, Jennings, LA.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
