Phillip Joseph Lyons, Sr., 45, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 27, 2022, in Jennings, LA.  Phillip was born on October 14, 1976 to Junius Lee Lyons, Sr. and Rachel Annette Lyons Jones-Lyons.  Phillip was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Jeff Peterson at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings, LA.  He was a 1996 graduate of Jennings High School where he was a member of the Football Team.  Phillip was self-employed as a Mechanic and Contractor doing Carpenter work on houses.  Phillip loved spending time with his children, cooking, and watching sports.

Phillip leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Phillip Joseph Lyons, Jr. and Travin Thomas Daigle; three daughters, Bethanie LeeAnn Torrez, Maegan Lange Trahan, and Razell Shantelay Lyons; five brothers, Emile Eugene Lyons, Junius Lee Lyons, Jr., James Anthony Jones, Gerard Lyons, and Howard Berry; one sister, Sebrina Beatrice Drake; six grandchildren, Alexis Giovanni Torrez, Andrei Stefan Torrez, Kailani Ashae Melanson, Kai'Elle Armon Melanson,  Kaez James Trahan, and Jaevan Amir Martin.

Philip was preceded in death by two brother, Gerard Lyons and Shelton Turner; his paternal grandparents, Lovenia Lyons and Ruddly Lyons; his maternal grandparents, Edith Mae Jones and Herman Jones, Sr.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 in the Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary with Reverend Carl M. Fontenot, Sr. officiating.  Visiting with family and friends will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Church Chapel.  Interment will follow in Peterson Memorial Cemetery in Jennings, LA under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings, LA.
