The family of Pomoja Nikia Pearson, 48, are deeply saddened to announce his passing on Friday, October 14, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.  Pomoja affectionately known as "Moja" was born on April 19, 1974 in Sun Valley, California to George Pearson and Annie Savoie.  After completing high school, Moja enlisted in the United State Army Reserves and received an honorable discharge on April 9, 2002.  Moja loved cooking and enrolled in Culinary School to earn a formal education and certification as a Chef.  Please keep the Pearson and Savoie family in your prayers.

Moja is survived by his children, Nikia Jaquell Gloston, Shawna Pearson, Ijah Pearson, Denise Parson, Pomoja Pearson, Jr., Anna Pearson, and Patience Pearson; his father, George Pearson; his aunts, Ella Savoie and Rose Savoie; other relatives and friends.

Moja was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Savoie; his maternal grandmother, Ida Savoie.

The family has selected Cremation for final disposition.  A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date by the family/
