Raymond Edward Ceasar was born on April 20, 1952 in Elton, LA to the late Sidney Ceasar and Emily Ceasar.  He accepted Christ at an early age and was christened in the Catholic faith and remained a Catholic until his death.

He was employed at LeeVac Shipyard Industries until he retired.  He departed this life Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.

He leaved to cherish his memories, one son, Terrance Jamal Matthews of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Helen Neil, Ella Mae Stansberry, Mary (Cloussy) Soularie, and Agnes (Robert) Allen; four brothers, Sidney (Murtty) Ceasar, Adam (Katherine) Ceasar, Simonb Ceasar, and Clyde Ceasar; Special firend, Gayle McZeal; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, special friends, Mike, Toney, Hammer, Pete, RV, Pop, Donald, Ronald, Orlandis, Kent, and brothers and  sisters in Christ.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel.  Reverend Gerald W. Perkins, Sr. will officiate.  Visiting will be in the chapel from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
